JKA Los Angeles Budo Karate Seminar No. 4 (California・ Nevada・ Arizona)

From April 4th to 13th, 2024, starting in Los Angeles, California, the Budo Karate Seminar hosted by the JKA Los Angeles was held under the guidance of Shihan Tatsuya Naka.
This was the 4th Budo Seminar by JKA Los Angeles, and Shihan Naka came to visit and guided us in three major cities in the Western United States: Las Vegas, Phoenix, , and Los Angeles. At the seminar, we invited Sensei Kattawar who is president of the JKA American Federation as a guest, and in addition to him, we were able to receive cooperation from JKA AF, Arizona JKA, JKA Shiba Dojo, JKA Maine, JKA GWU, JKA of California, JKA Spoke Washington, JKA NorCal, and many other JKA affiliated organizations in the United States.
We were able to hold a very meaningful and successful Budo seminar for a large number of participants, with Shihan Naka teaching everything from the basics of Budo karate to kata and kumite. In addition, during this seminar, we held DAN exams and various qualification exams. The Dan exams were from 2nd to 5th dan, and on the final day of the seminar, we were able to hold a JKA karate tournament in Los Angeles, the final destination of this Budo seminar, with JKA-licensed Judges. Many association members and athletes were able to fully demonstrate their daily training in a meaningful match.
As JKA members, we hope to continue holding more tournaments under JKA rules in the future and to let more other karatekas know how great JKA tournaments are at the same time in USA.
I believe that many of the participants in this seminar returned to their own dojos with a real feel for JKA Budo karate.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Shihan Naka for his special guidance, and also to the instructors and students of the JKA affiliated organizations in the United States, the staffs and volunteers of the JKA Los Angeles dojo, and all the people who participated in the seminar, who led this seminar to success.

第４回JKA ロサンゼルス武道空手セミナー（カリフォルニア州・ネバダ州・アリゾナ州）

2024 年 4 月4 から13 日にかけ、カリフォルニア州ロサンゼルスを皮切りに、JKA ロサンゼルス本部主催の武道空手セミナーが中師範のご指導の元、開催されました。
今回の武道セミナーは第４回目となり、中師範をお招きしてアメリカ西地区の主要都市であるラスベガス・アリゾナ・ロサンゼルスと3 か所を回ってのご指導を頂きました。セミナーでは、JKA American Federation のカタワー氏もゲストにお招きし JKA AF の協力の他、Arizona JKA をはじめ、JKA Shiba Dojo, JKA Maine, JKA GWU, JKA of California, JKA Spoke Washington, JKA NorCal 他、JKA 加盟団体の垣根を越えアメリカ国内の多くのJKA 所属道場のご協力も得ることもできたため、大変多くの参加者にて大盛況なセミナーとなりました。セミナーでは、中師範による武道空手の基本から形・組手と分解とも交えながら細かなご指導を受け、大変有意義のあるセミナーを開催することができました。また、今回のセミナーの間では、昇段審査や各種資格試験も開催し、昇段試験は二段から五段まで行い、またセミナーの最終日には、今回の武道セミナーの最終地であるロサンゼルスにて、JKA の資格保持審判による空手大会も開催することができ、多くの協会メンバー及び選手達が日頃の鍛錬を思う存分に発揮した有意義な試合も開催することができました。
我々JKA メンバーとして、今後も引き続きJKA ルールの試合をより多く開催し続け、より多くの他の空手家達にもJKA の大会の素晴らしさも同時に知っていただきたいと願っております。今回のセミナーの参加者の多くが、JKA の武道空手を肌で実感され各自の道場に帰られたことと思います。
中師範には、格別のご指導を厚く御礼申し上げ、また今回のセミナーを成功に導いていただき参加いただきました、各アメリカ国内のJKA加盟団体の先生・生徒の皆様方、JKA ロサンゼルス道場のスタッフ・ボランティア、セミナーに参加いただいた全ての方々に大変感謝を申し上げたいと思います。
