We are pleased to announce that the 10^th Taiwan Gashuku in Taipei was held on January 18 and 19 , 2020. 　Gashuku in Taiwan is held twice a year from 2015, in Taipei, Taoyuan, Taichung and Kaohsiung.

The first day of Gashuku, 36 members of JKA-Taiwan participated and had hard practice with Kihon, Kata and Kumite under the instruction of Shiina Sensei. Shiina Sensei showed and explained us how to practice Kata such as Bassai-syou, Nijyuushiho and Gojyuushiho-syou. We could study the meaning of each Kata’s action.

Kumite training was very powerful and impressive. We could have confidence through this training. After Kumite training, we had Dan examination from 1^st Dan to 5^th Dan, and 17 persons passed.

Result was as follows,

1^st Dan:6, 2^nd Dan:3, 3^rd Dan:5, 4thDan:2, 5thDan:1

The second day, 60 of karate men and women, including Non-JKA members, participated and had practice with Kihon, Kata and Kumite under the instruction of Shiina Sensei. In this class, Non-JKA members, especially high school students, could understand clearly the JKA BUDO KARATE, I think.

We could finish the 10^th Gasshuku successfully. Thank you very much Shiina Sensei and all of participants.

JKA Taiwan will hold the 11^th Gashuku in Taichung in June, 2020.
