We are pleased to announce that 8^th Taiwan Gasshuku in Taipei was held on 15^th and 16^th in December, 2018. Gasshuku in Taiwan is held twice a year from 2015, in Taipei, Taoyuan, Taichung and Kaohsiung.

The first day of Gasshuku, 20 of black belt participated and had hard practice with Kihon, Kata and Kumite under the instruction of Shiina Sensei. Shiina Sensei showed and explained us how to practice Kata such as Bassai-Dai, Jyutte, Enppi and Jion. We could study the meaning of each Kata’s action. Kumite training was very powerful and impressive. We could have confidence through this training.

The second day, 35 of black belt participated and had hard practice with Kihon, Kata and Kumite the same as the first day. Shiina Sensei showed and explained us how to practice Kata such as Hangetsu, kanku-syo and Gankaku. Kumite training on the second day included preparation for Dan examination. After Kumite training, we had Dan examination from 1^st Dan to 4^th Dan, and 11 parson passed.

Result was as follows,
1^st Dan : 6,  2^nd Dan : 3,  3^rd Dan : 1,  4thDan : 1

We could finish 8^th Gasshuku successfully. Thank you very much Shiina Sensei and all of participant.
JKA Taiwan will hold 9^th Gassuku in Taoyuan in June, 2019.
