On February 4, 2023 JKA HQ (Tokyo) held an online seminar for the members of the RTKF (Russia). The seminar was conducted by the technical director of the JKA WF Shiina Katsutoshi Shihan. The online training session was devoted to kumite techniques: Tai no sen, Sasoi waza.
Twenty-eight karateka took part in this event. The Zoom meeting was joined by athletes from Moscow, Odintsovo, Krasnoyarsk, Kaluga, and Yaroslavl. The following RTKF members and officials participated: Alexander Savenkov, Yuri Shesterikov, Dmitry Zhavoronkov, Artem Shashkin, Stepan Vasiliev, and others.
All the karateka were fascinated by the technical and tactical exercises shown by Shiina Shihan, his assistant Osato Ryota Sensei, and the interpreter Kamae Ippei San.
Everyone liked very much the exciting work in pairs based on the methodology by Shiina Shihan. RTKF karateka worked very hard.
