During the week of December 9-16, we invited the two instructors, known champions, Kazuaki Kurihara Sensei and Hidemoto Kurihara Sensei, from the JKA headquarters, for a technical training seminar. It was a great joy to see each other again and train together.
It was an extraordinary week, with a lot of technical information, with many hours of training, with a lot of effort from those present. The technical level and the quality of karate, presented and studied together with the two instructors, was of a high level.

Our seminar started on Wednesday and Thursday morning, December 11th and 12th, with the training of the national junior and senior team, present and prospective.
Kanku dai and Empi were studied, but and jiyu kumite, with an emphasis on distance and timing.
Also on Wednesday, in the afternoon, I had a training with the children and juniors of the Unirea Sannicolau Mare club, where kihon, hip movements, positions were emphasized, as well as the Heian Shodan and Nidan kata.

Starting with Thursday afternoon training, over 200 practitioners were brought together, divided into three groups.
The first and second groups, children and juniors 9-6 kyu and 4-1 kyu, 150 practitioners, and the third group consisting of 70 black belts. All five Heian katas, and advanced katas, were covered in the training program. Sochin, Gojushiho sho, Gojushiho dai, Unsu, Kanku sho, Nijushiho, with technical details of standardization but also with applications. Also gohon kumite, kihon ippon kumite and jiyu ippon kumite, with details for distance and timing.

Together with members of our association JKA Romania trained our friends from, Hungary – the team led by Janos Krepsz, Serbia – the team led by Attila Komaromi, and the team led by Ivana Nedeljković, Germany – Jakab Robert, Moldova – the team led by Valeriu Griu, Switzerland – Roland Heimgartner, and from Romania the ACKF team led by Constantin Caliman.
