Report of the XVI TECHNICAL SEMINAR JKA MEXICO CITY 2024

The Technical Seminar The XVI JKA MEXICO CITY 2024 was held from Thursday June 6th to Friday June 9th, having as guests Shihan Tatsuya Naka and Shihan Koichiro Okuma held in the facilities from the “ Domo del Deportivo Plan Sexenal” (Sexenal Plan Sports Dome) in the municipality Miguel Hidalgo Mexico City.

The event had more than 400 participants from different parts of the Mexican Republic, as well as participants from countries such as the USA, Panama, Peru and Venezuela.

The event was presented in 3 sessions at different times of each day. The morning a class was offered focused exclusively for instructors with the objective of working directly with the instructors of the clubs or dojos that make up the JKA in Mexico. Later, a session was focused on beginners and intermediates in which local instructors participated alongside the teachers in order to support them in the mass instruction of the seminar. In the afternoon, the last session was focused on the group of advanced belts in which the teachers addressed topics of Kumite and advanced Kata.

During the Sunday and prior to the last training session of the event, Dan Grade exams from 1st to 5th Dan were presented, as well as certification exams of Judge, Instructor and Examiner.

The event was attended by members of sister Shotokan organizations such as SKAI, JKS, ISKF and WKS KASE HA UNION. In the same way, practitioners of other styles of Karatedō such as Goju Ryu of the Goju Kensha organization also participated. This allows us to appreciate that the incessant taste for learning does not limit any practitioner of Karatedō ; which shows a strong commitment toward the practice and refinement of their technique through continuous learning which is beneficial for their person and for the JKA MEXICO CITY generating an authentic growth for all the members that constitute the organization, therefore this technical exchange promotes and reinforces friendship within our martial community.

As always we are grateful to the teachers of HQ for the high level of knowledge demonstrated and transmitted in the classes and for always emitting the purpose of unifying, promoting and strengthening the JKA Karate project in Mexico.

 

Reporte del XVI Seminario Técnico JKA Mexico City 2024

El pasado mes de Junio fue celebrado el XVI Seminario Técnico JKA Mexico City 2024 del jueves 6 al viernes 9. Teniendo como invitados a Shihan Tatsuya Naka y a Shihan Koichiro Okuma llevado a cabo en las instalaciones del “Domo del Deportivo Plan Sexenal” en la alcaldía Miguel Hidalgo Ciudad de México.

El evento contó con más de 400 participantes de diferentes puntos de la República Mexicana, así como con participantes de países como EEUU, Panamá, Perú y Venezuela.

El evento se presentó en 3 bloques en diferentes horarios de cada día, por la mañana se ofreció una clase enfocacada exclusivamente a los instructores teniendo como objetivo trabajar directamente con los instructores de los clubes o dojos que conforman la JKA en México; más tarde se ofrecía un bloque enfocado a los principiantes e intermedios, en el cual los instructores locales participaron a lado de los maestros con la finalidad de apoyarlos en la instrucción masiva del seminario. Por la tarde el último bloque estaba enfocado al grupo de grados avanzados en el cual los maestros abordaron temas propios de Kumite y Katas avanzadas.

Durante el día domingo y previo a la última sesión de entrenamiento del evento se presentaron exámenes de grado Dan desde 1º hasta 5º Dan, así como exámenes de certificación de Juez, Instructor y Examinador.

El evento contó con participación de miembros de organizaciones hermanas de Shotokan tales como SKAI, JKS, ISKF y de WKS KASE HA UNION. De misma manera también participaron miembros practicantes de otros estilos de KarateDō tales como Goju Ryu de la organización Goju Kensha; esto nos permite apreciar que el incesante gusto por aprender no limita a ningún practicante de KarateDō el cual muestra un fuerte compromiso hacia la práctica y refinamiento de su técnica mediante el aprendizaje continuo el cual resulta benéfico para su persona y para la JKA MÉXICO CITY generando un auténtico crecimiento para todos los miembros que constituyen la organización, ya que este intercambio técnico promueve y refuerza la amistad dentro de nuestra comunidad marcial.

Agradecidos siempre con los maestros de HQ por el altísimo nivel de conocimiento demostrado y transmitido en las clases ,siempre en aras y con el propósito de unificar, promover y fortalecer el proyecto de Karate JKA en México.
