The World Karate Federation of Kazakhstan (JKAWF Kazakhstan) proudly held its first national camp from May 16 to 19, 2024. This grand event, held in the vibrant city of Almaty, was a historic event for the organization, laying a strong foundation for future achievements.

 

Special Guest Instructor

The camp was graced by the presence of Katsutoshi Shiina Shihan, former World and All Japan Champion, 8th Dan, Technical Director of JKA and Executive Director of JKA Headquarters. Shiina Shihan’s participation added prestige and originality to the event. During his stay in the camp, he officially announced that the JKAWF of Kazakhstan in the International JKA Community reports that the organization is demonstrating high growth and global revolutions.

 

Membership Certificate

At the international level, Shiina Shihan presented a certificate of membership to Ableev Temir Khan, Chairman of JKAWF Kazakhstan. This event symbolized the official entry of JKAWF Kazakhstan into the global JKA community, confirming its commitment to the principles and practices of the Japanese Karate Association.

 

International participation

The camp was graced by the presence of honored guests from Russia (RTKF/JKAWF Russia) and India (JKAWF India). This international participation in the international JKA community, inclusive and global in spirit, promotes friendship and cultural exchange between practitioners from different countries.

 

Training and cultural emphasis

Throughout the camp, Shiina Shihan focused on JKA’s teaching style, thinking, and overall culture. His classes were aimed not only at improving the technical skills of the participants, but also at instilling the core values ​​and philosophical foundations of JKA Karate. I would also like the examination event and the provision of such high dans (rokudan) to be a great honor for us. This camp became a significant stage in the development of JKAWF Kazakhstan, opening new horizons for the organization and its participants.

The Japan Karate Association is a Public Interest Incorporated Association certified by the Cabinet Office and is committed to cultivate youth with quality.
The Prime Minister Cup and the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports Cup are awarded to the national convention hosted by the Society.
