This time’s training was more of understanding Kihon waza and its obvious connection with Kata and Kumite, and so Ueda Sensei took his own time in explaining and correcting it.

And as it is, with Ueda Sensei around; kids are the most benefitted, as they connect with Ueda Sensei very easily, his simple techniques, easy to understand explanations and practical demonstration of what he is teaching makes the kihon waza interesting and appealing.

Kata & Kumite were practiced in detail and elaborated keeping in mind the National Championship to be followed just after the seminar.

We had Sho Dans, Ni Dans, San Dans, with 7 Qualification license D & C Instructor, Judge & Examiner as pass outs of this camp.

Our 2 days National Championship of Sr, Jr, Veterans & Kyu grades concluded with great ease and was injury free and we saw the younger lot improvising in their kata & kumite.

This event had a huge turnout and I wish to thank our core team of support staff in helping us with general and administrative duties and making this event a great success.
