Funakoshi Gichin Cup 16th Karate World Championship Tournament : Report from NEW ZEALAND

The 16th JKA Funakoshi Gichin Cup was an invaluable experience for all involved and JKANZ can be proud of the performance of its team. While the competition was fierce, our team members exceeded expectations. The overall spirit of the team was commendable, with everyone supporting each other both on and off the tatami.

We also extend our thanks to JKA for organizing such an outstanding event and providing the opportunity for global karateka to come together in the spirit of sportsmanship.

From Sensei Karl Naoroji
