The 2022 AKJKAQ Summer Camp was held at ETS in Montreal from June 22^nd to June 26^th. We had the great honor to have Imura Sensei, 8^th Dan as our guest Instructor. Thank you very much to the JKA HQ for dispatching one of the most senior Instructor at Honbu Dojo and to Imura Sensei for accepting the challenge of travelling in these time where travelling conditions are more difficult.

As much as 111 participants had the privilege to train under Imura Sensei during this 5 days Camp. Although the training was demanding at times everyone showed good spirit and effort. A great variety of techniques and trainings was presented during this camp. We had a rigorous blocking session from the start. This was followed by extensive training sessions on ushiro geri, sukui uke, empi, shuto uchi, gyaku-zuki and so on. We also had an in depth explanation and training session on jiyu ippon kumite. A special attention was also given to Tekki Nidan, Tekki Sandan, Hangetsu, Jitte, Nijushiho  and Sochin along with bunkai related to these kata.

The Dan exam was conducted just after the last training. Congratulations to the following members who succeeded in their Dan test.
