We would like to share with the whole JKA Karate community all over the world our pleasure from Kurihara Kazuaki Sensei’s visit to Bulgaria. As it was the case in many countries, BULGARIA GASSHUKU 2022 was our first event after 2019.

Once again we had the greatest pleasure to have the chance to learn from outstanding Kurihara Sensei. As always, with his big smile Kurihara Sensei was teaching and sharing with everybody his great experience and his way of developing Karate.

Over 80 karateka from Bulgaria, Greece and Estonia had the opportunity to see from very close even the smallest details and hear Kurihara Sensei’s advice on how to practice.

With the kind help of Kurihara Sensei, every year new clubs are coming to become part of the JKA family.

During the Gasshuku, we held Dan and qualification examinations. Under Kurihara Sensei supervision, our members successfully earned grades from Shodan to Godan and also earned JKA Instructor, Judge and Examiner qualifications.
