【PAKISTAN】10th JKA National Karate Championship Lahore, 2024.
Japan Karate Association Pakistan successfully organized 10th JKA National Karate (Men & Women) Championship on 25th & 26th May, 2024 at Lahore – Pakistan. Players and officials participated from all over Pakistan. Minster for Sports & Youth Affairs Departments Government of Punjab Malik Faisal Kokhar officially inaugurated the championship. District Sports Officer Lahore Syed Tanveer Shah, Director Sports Crescent Model School Rizwan Ahmed, Colonel Retired Muhammad Ali, JKA Pakistan officials and other dignitaries were present at the occasion. Hussain Ali Changezi Sensei President & Chief Instructor JKA Pakistan welcomed all honorable guests and officials. He briefed about activities, achievements and upcoming programms of JKA Pakistan. Fayyaz Feroze Sensei President JKA Punjab was organizing secretary of championship.
Boys & Girls players showed their talent and skills, Men & Women players also showed the true spirit of this fighting sport. The kumite events were held according to age i.e. 12, 14,16, 18, 20, 22, above 22 years and team kumite. Individual and team kata events also conducted. Chief Referee was Hussain Ali Changezi Sensei, while other officials were Nasir Mehmood, Nasirullah Hazara, Abdullah Changezi, Fida Muhammad Dumar, Abdul Reheem, Dilawar Hussain Mughal, Dilawar Bhatti, Abdul Mannan Saleem, Mehak Mughal, Amir Ashfaq, Adeel Butt, Mehr Fayyaz Feroz, Mujahid Butt, Irfan Ali and others.
The final matches and closing ceremony were held on 26th May. Madam Rahila reknown banker and daughter former Corps Commander Lahore was chief guest, Guest of Honor was Madam Humaira chairperson A Plus TV and Public News. They watched the final competitions and appreciated players for their excellent performance. According to the results, Balochistan team won the championship. Punjab team second and Sindh team got third position in championship.
At closing ceremony Madam Rahila, Madam Humaira, Hussain Ali Changezi Sensei and JKA Pakistan officials awarded medals to successful players and souvenirs to officials.
The 10th JKA National Karate Championship ended with great success.
