The autumn gasshuku took place on the 7th of November, under the guidance of Shihan Peté Pacheco, 7th Dan JKA, President and Chief Instructor of JKA Portugal.
With the participation of 120 practitioners nationwide, the training was divided by age and graduation with a particular focus on the fundamental points of Hangetsu kata techniques by Shihan Peté Pacheco, and Jyu Ippon Kumite and Jyu Kumite by Sensei António Pula, 7th Dan JKA.
The youngest, up to 12 years old, had a training centered on the particularities of posture and dynamics of the basic positions, guided by Sensei Liliana Madaleno, 3rd Dan JKA.
JKA Portugal, in addition to the constant training of instructors, thus seeks to maintain all the traditional events that it develops annually, preparing from now on, the next spring stage 2021 next February.
Special thanks to everyone who keeps JKA karate always active, and who, in this difficult phase of the global pandemic, believe that this is a way to overcome all the difficulties we are experiencing.
